We know that making the decision to attend The University of North Carolina at Charlotte may not have been an easy choice. Or it may have been the fulfillment of a personal, academic goal! Either way, the Department of Housing and Residence Life is here to help make your transition to our great University as easy as possible.

You may have been enrolled at another University, or have elected to spend your first year at a junior college or a community college. Either way, while you have undoubtedly achieved a comfort level with how college life works, you may still feel uncomfortable with the idea of life and study at UNC Charlotte.

While we do not have a specific area for transfer students, our Residence Coordinators, Graduate Assistants, and Resident Advisors are always approachable and ready to assist you in addressing your unique needs and questions. If they can't help, they can direct you to someone who can! All of us in Housing and Residence Life are ready to help you realize your fullest potential as a UNC Charlotte 49er.
