The Department of Housing and Residence Life provides the following utilities for residents as part of their Contract for Residential Services:

  • Electricity - No set up required by residents.
  • Natural Gas - No set up required by residents.
  • Water (both Hot & Cold) - No set up required by residents.
  • Cable Television - Basic service is provided; No set up required by residents.
  • Local Telephone - Basic service is provided; No set up required by residents.
  • Internet Service - High speed service is provided; No set up required by residents.

If a resident encounters a problem with any of these utilities they should contact the appropriate department:

Electricity, Natural Gas, or Water Services - Housing Facility Services - (704) 687-7502

Cable Television or Internet Service - Time Warner Cable - (704) 687-3778
