Appliance Policy
The North Carolina Insurance Commissioner's Office has established guidelines for cooking and a list of approved appliances for use at The University of North Carolina at Charlotte for the following residence halls: Cedar, C.F. Lynch, Hawthorn, Hickory, Holshouser, Moore, Oak, Scott, and Sycamore Halls. Suite units in the following buildings are also subject to these guidelines: Laurel and Witherspoon Halls.
